You can find personal trainers at your local gym, which you'll need to join to do personal training in anyway. Also, the elliptical machine is low impact and works you pretty good, so start on the lowest setting. There are other machines that are low impact too, we have arc machines here that are pretty cool. Just start slowly and listen to your body.

I was wondering about the physical therapy too - if you had any, ask that person what you should be doing.
