I hope you are successful with your new program. The lifestyle changes are the most important. For me, WLS was best - I had gained and lost the weight so many times, never once getting to where I am today. I exercised regularly, never ate fast foods, but had issues with portion sizes of "good" foods. I chose to have surgery when my children were 2 and 4. I was only about 10 pounds heavier than you when I started my weight loss journey. I had lost down to 200 several times in the past 7 years, but mostly with exercise, I just didn't have the portion control tool that I needed so much. I'm 2 years out on March 20, and I've maintained a 125 pound weight loss for over a year now. Because I am on a certain medication b/c of a disease not related to weight, I have blood work every 3 months. I'm healthy as a horse. I take my vitamins, eat right, exercise and I am thankful every day for my weight loss tool. My only issues at times are my image of myself - only now do I see myself as a small person in the world.
I wish you the best.
