Joohhhhhnnnnnnnnnnnnn..................

I couldnt agree with you more. I think you should only be allowed one surgery, if you sabotage it because of poor choices, then shame on you and get your act together! No amount of surgery will be helpful in the long run.

You said it, if people STOPPED eating in their cars, at their desks, (I wonder who is snacking and grazing while reading this right now!) STOP eating in front of the TV, in bed where ever. STOP eating without palnning your meals, and drink WATER! You have the tool already, the habits need to be redirected!
I think if somewhere the pouch failed, errupted sutures, hernias, whatever can occur, I can understand a "quickie" to "fixie". Otherwise, people need to accept responsibility for their poor choices. I dont feel sorry for any of them.

I know I sound like an a-hole, if your upset reading this, take a big breath before you type, and think... is what she saying anything I am doing. You more than likely are. Get back to basics. Plan the meals, weigh your portions, eat at the table, and drink water and you will lose again!

I gained 15 pounds a couple of years ago, a self analysis revealed what I was doing was bad stuff!

People need to be spending time/money/energy into learning new eating habits and workout habits. Learning discipline with their eating addictions and working on their emotional/psycological reasons for having those addictions in the first place.

Not going to the surgeon again and saying "patch me up"

"People will argue with you that getting what you want in life isn’t something you can learn, if you’re destined to be one of the worlds winners as opposed to one of its perpetual whiners, its because you have been born with the right talents and temperament and have a big dose of self-esteem, ambition, and good judgment."
