cottage cheese, blended or mashed w/fork
canned tuna or salmon (be careful of bones in the salmon) water pack or foil pack
tilapia, trout
egg whites
canned chicken and turkey
tofu
stage 2 infant meant, no chunks
refried beans (nonfat/vegetarian)
pureed beans
veggies: pureed, start w/carrots, green beans, broccoli
Veg. juices
unsweetened canned fruit (in water or their own juice) i.e. ripe pear, apple, each, plum (scrape flesh w/spoon)
FF or Lo-fat mayo or Miracle Whip
FF or LF Salad dressing
FF or LF Sour cream
FF gravy
Soup: strained cream soup made w/skim milk
Misc: ketchup, mustard, salt, sugar free cocoa made w/skim milk, flavoring/extracts
AVOID:
pork, hamburger, beef, spicy or highly seasoned meats, sausage and other high fat products, fried anything, meat/poultry with casings, corn, peas, greens, asparagus, celery, other stringy or fibrous veggies, raw veggies, fruits with membranes (oranges), fruits w/skin (peel apples first), dried fruits, no cheese soups, no nuts, no jalapenos, no popcorn...
