I would do it again and again and again, every day for the rest of my life. I wish I could have done it at 19 or 20! I have always been extremely overweight. I was 457 in Sept, 2006 and 447 at surgery. I am now 229, give or take. There are things that I can't eat, sure, and unfortunately there are things that I can eat that I wish I couldn't! But I wouldn't change a thing! I am 38 (just turned) and had surgery at 36. I can start trying to get pregnant at 18 months out which is this June. I am planning on stopping birth control in April to get it out of my system then hopefully can get pregnant quickly. There are concerns with pregnancy after surgery but it can definitely be done, and has been done by many on here! Look at the pregnancy board and you'll see how many there are that have new babies or who are getting ready to pop. Good luck to you with your decision, and congratulations on making the decision to, one way or another, take control of your weight and your life at such a young age! You'll do great, no matter what you decide to do!
