I think it more important that you print a copy and keep it with you at all times.

My surgeon and PCP are based in a large teaching hospital. It's rare that I get to see the same doctor each time.

It's also useful as a reference when you go to a pharmacy.

I was given Naproxen at 6 weeks out of surgery - despite asking twice if it was a NSAID. I was told it was ok to take!

From then on, I carried my list and referred to it when needed.
