My symptoms were chronic pain and sickness. The pain was excrutiating, even morphine did nothing and the pain was so bad, I was retching. I lost an awful lot of weight and ended up with malnutrition so was admitted to hospital.
Surgery put it right, the Petersons Cavity was closed and my bowel stitched in place and the damaged part of the bowel was removed.
Scary but my surgeon was amazing. I trust him with my life.
