Hi there! I just wanted to respond because our situations sound similar. I had the surgery last year when I was 22. I had been heavy my whole life and I had PCOS since I was about 13. I was also concerned about getting pregnant and having children. I spoke to many doctors about this, including a fertility specialist and they all agreed. They said they being unhealthy and especially because PCOS can cause you become infertile, there is a greater chance of having a successful pregnancy being at a healthy weight, not having PCOS and leading a healthy lifestyle. So in other words, gastric bypass is drastic and will change your life, but only for the better. Once you are healthy, it will be better for every aspect of your life, including having children. And you answer your original question, I would do it again in a heartbeat!! I wouldn't even think twice. I wish you all the luck in the world and if you ever have any questions, feel free to contact me!
