i too was told i couldnt drink carbonated drinks but not told anything about coffee or alcohol,
some have some havent, to be honest i can see why they would say not to drink carbonated drinks, it doesnt only bloat the stomache it can rott it as well and if you think about it the band has made a thinnner pouch of the stomache which means its probably more likely to be effected by carbonated drink, saying this wheni go out socialising i have maybe one or two small fizzy drinks then i swap it for a juice just to be on the safe side, as for tea, coffee and even alcohol i drink it but i dont over do it. everyone is different and will be able to eat and drink things that thers cant,
