Mine was similar....consult was June 10th, approval July 18th, surgery Sep 7th....and that's because they only had one surgeon skilled in doing it laproscopically, or it would have been way sooner. I did also have a good insurance company, submitted proof of past attempts, and did a lot of fancy footwork getting appointments in and results turned in.....but it can happen.
