Claire, your wow moment really made me smile. I too have been tempted to ask my husband this same question, because I know what I see in the mirror isn't what other people see when they look at me. Your DH response gives me courage to ask this tough question.

When I got down to your post with the above comment, I started to tear up, because I too have found it is SO, much easier to take that positive path, and you have stated it so beautifully, that I think I will print it out and put it on my bulletin board at work.
