Kelly,
I'm 2 1/2 years out, haven't had any complications and YES!!! I would do it again. It is not for everyone, but I firmly believe that I would not be alive today it I hadn't had it done. Between my stressful job, high blood pressure, diabetes, high colesterol, etc, and my weight, it would have killed me. As of a month ago, all my blood work came back normal, for the first time in years. I have put back on 15 lbs because I quit doing the things I need to do (exercise) and I don't have a problem eating stuff I shouldn't. It's just a tool and if you work with the tools given to you it will be successful.
So I'm getting back on track with eating right and exercising. Having a support group is also a MAJOR help. I had my surgery in San Diego, but live 5 hours north of there and I don't have support group up here. My TT and San Diego friends are the world's greatest. I try to get down south to meet with them when I can. You really need that help and support of people that understand what you are going through. Good luck.
