We've all been there..done that. I had gained 15 lbs, 10 lbs over my usual range. I started South Beach diet just before thanksgiving and dropped 10 lbs during the first 2 week no carb hell. I'v dropped another lbs and am trying for those last 4. I'm 166 and wear a size 4 on the bottom, I can wear anything from a small to large or a 8-14 on the top. I have really broad shoulders and it seams that tops are smaller cut than bottoms these days. Just go back to basics. If you hungry, are you not eating 5-6 small meals a day like you are supposed to? I'm usually only hungry when I don't eat regularly. Are you getting slack with exercise? I've been reading about research that was done that said that exercise doesn't help with weight loss as much as it helps with weight maintenance. Don't know if that's true but it never seem to help me lose more weight. But it is helping me to keep it off. Now that you are aware of the problem, review what you are doing and get a plan in place to get back on track. Like Zen said, keep a food and exercise journal. Weight can also flucuate as much as 5 lbs a day either up or down depending on water rentention, slow moving bowels, etc. This is a normal thing and I think I can speak fo most, if not all of us, that we will have to watch out for the rest of our lives or the weight will come back on. Good luck. SUe
