My first stricture I couldn't keep anything down. It required a ten day stay in the hospital lots of pain meds and anti nausea meds. The second one wasn't quite as bad. I still had a hard time with everything and there was alot of pain involved. This one very little pain . As far as fluids they have to be in water like state. nothing thick or chunky. as a matter of fact the doctor told me to water down my protein shakes. yes he put me back on them. if i were you i would call the doctor tomorrow just to be sure. you may have a slight stricture but I am not a doctor.
