How far out are you, Sweetie? I hate to say this, but that sounds like symptoms I had before my bowel became obstructed. It kept getting harder and harder to get food past the knot I could actually feel in my abdomen right around the anastomosis site. Ultimately, nothing could pass, and the pain I experienced was unlike anything I ever thought my body could manifest. Long story, and one too scary to relate, but I recommend contacting your surgeon with this info and see if he/she orders any testing. Don't be a martyr like I thought I was--it only makes it worse in the end. It's not normal pain, please have it checked out. I was 1 year (almost to the day) of being out. It nearly killed me--please don't postpone!
Let us know what you find out, Love. We care about you and I don't want to see one other person have to endure the agony I went through. Take care!!!
