Dianne, I'm sorry to hear that the band fills still remain painful for you. I'm afraid I have no experience with fills so I don't have any words of wisdom for you on that.

In regards to goals or targets, I don't think it is bad to have them BUT you need to make sure they are realistic goals. You also don't want to beat yourself up if you don't reach those goals in the time frame that you have in mind. Everyone's body is different and none of us will lose at the same rate. BUT it is true that the closer you get to your ideal weight the slower you will lose. Even with a band. Actually historically someone who had the band vs. the RNY will lose slower because you don't have the malabsorption. Just keep doing what you are doing. I think you have had a great weight loss so far but don't get down on yourself if things slow down.
