Hoping and praying is on a distinguished road
Default

Well I am going through with the surgery it is already aproved by both the docs and the surgeons so I am not stressing that. I am a little concerned but both my surgeons have a 700-0 fatality rate so I am happy for that. Like I said previously, this surgery is being coupled with a few other that i will be undergoing all at one time. I am going to have part of my intestine removed, a tumor removed and part of my pancrease may have to get remove depending on the position of the tumor so it is all happening at one time. I have not stressed about it to much as I know this is the best and is for the best medically. My surgeon said the weight loss part will be slower since my body will have a lot to heal from and becuase of the bmi. Either way they feel this is the right thing since I am suffereng from sugars above 500 and that is with the meds and insuline. Most of that will change when the tumor is off my pancreas (sp) and with the surgery.

I have also heart that the american instiute for bariatrics is now going to change he name to bariatrics and metobolic surgery. I thought that was interesting.

Well I will know more after my preop tomorrow.
