I am not that much farther along than you, but where my incision was open for so long is still sore and numb. For the most part, the rest of my scar is not numb and apparently that is not normal. The doctor is very surprised that I have as much feeling as I do there - he says the nerves were cut.

My husband had a radical mastectomy in 1999 and his scar on his chest and under the armpit is still numb. I can't relate to that. He was feeling my incision the other week and was surprised at how I can feel it all.
