Default How long does the numbness last?

Ok, I'm going to jump in and ask the first question here. I'm curious what everyone's experience is with the numbness after their tummy tuck. I asked my plastic surgeon how long it would last and all I got out of him was, "A long time."

I'm 8 weeks post-op and have significant numbness in my abdominal flap up to mid abdomen and in one of my hips. So do you eventually find that the feeling comes back and if so about how long? I know 8 weeks is way to soon to expect for it to be gone but I guess I was hoping to hear that I'll at least get back more feeling than I have now.
