15 Years and Counting!
Most of the time we hear and see a LOT about marriages breaking up, partners splitting and so forth following Gastric Bypass/extreme weight loss. Well, it's not all bad folks!
I am here as proof that sometimes, marriages can become stronger, more vibrant, and renewed with bypass too! Tomorrow my husband and I celebrate 15 years together!!
Each and every day over the past two years has been an emotional roller coaster, yet he has been with me every single step of the way. Since I have lost the weight, and plastics has alleviated most of that excess skin....our sex life has improved 110%. Most of my inhibitions are gone...mostly because I am no longer self-conscience of how many rolls are hanging and how they hang. Yep, I can say positively, that this is the greatest thing our marriage has ever experienced.
I'm not saying that Gastric Bypass fixed, or cured what was wrong with our marriage. It didn't, because there really wasn't anything wrong with it. What it did was take a strong marriage between two strong people and cemented it! I don't know how long it will last...but my guess is forever!
After all, I have spent 15 years training this husband! I don't have the time or energy to devote to re-training someone new...so it's this or NOTHING! LOL!!
Sometimes marriages get better....15 years....yet it feels like yesterday!!!!
