This is, indeed, touchy....
Here is my own opinion, for what it's worth......
I have a lot of hunger now. I force myself to ignore it and eat when and what I'm supposed to eat, in small portions. I don't know if this is right or wrong - I am just terrified to do anything else. If I listened to my body I would eat all the time (when I'm home - not when I'm out and about). So I am being strict with myself, and plan to stay that way.
The other thing, too, is that I can't always tell that I am full until 10 minutes later. So in theory (for me), I would eat and eat way beyond full because i wouldn't know I was full. Does tha make sense?
