Default Welcome

I am fairly new to this site to, but I think you will really like it. I had my surgery 4 weeks ago, so this journey is new to me. I can however sympathize with you on the ulcer. In 2001 I had an ulcer (did not know I had one) rupture, I ended up with peritinitus (spp?) too. It was the most pain I have ever felt in my entire life. After 6 hrs in the emergency room I finally went to surgery and was also left with an open wound to take care of for the next 8 weeks until it closed up. Now I have a nice 8 inch by 2 inch scar on my belly..combine that with 2 c-sections and now 6 lap scope scars, I look like a hyrogliphic (spp?).

You have been through so much, but I am sure it has made you are more aware and a stronger person. Be happy with the weight you have lost and if more comes off great!

You should be very proud of yourself not only for your weight loss, but for you medical triumphs!

welcome aboard! Melissa
