I'm amazed at the number of reversals beign done
I'm starting to hear about them more frequently. i think it has more to do with the sheer number of GBS surgeries that have increased over the past few years, than anything else. Also surgeons I have spoken with always say the same thing... I've never had to reverse one of my paitents but I've done 7 or 8 from other doctors. makes me wonder why that happens? Can't we as individuals go back to our surgeons?
Again, it feels like those of us with severe complications are the black sheep of the family. Those long term people who have gained back partial or all their lost weight. Are the statistics really accurate on how successful this surgery is if those of us who fail long term or have complications disappear fromt eh community?
Theres a writer out there doing a story on the "non-rosey" side of GBS, the one that all the shows and radio commentaries miss or in some cases avoid.
My letter went unanswered as of today. Bariatric advantage is not responding to calls either.
Oh wel.....
