I have the similar problem.
It scares me, so I try to look at my portion on the plate and determine if that is appropriate to maintain my weight loss.
I give the portions worth, such as protein 2 -4 ounces, veggies 1 cup, unless it is salad, I can eat allot of salad, and little to no starch, but if it is there, I eat it cautiously and pick it to pieces so I do not start consuming it like the old days.
Leaves my plate looking gross when I am done, but I am so used to folding up a napkin with left overs and trashing it after every meal, that if I didn't it would feel strange now.
The tool is definitely less of a control freak after 2 years out...I am coming on to year 3 soon and want to keep off the 130 pound weight loss.
Still wish I could have got to 155 but every time I start a "weight loss" plan, I gain weight and start having those deprivation feelings again....I wish I could get past that, but since I can't I am focused on maintaining....maybe this weight is my goal!!!
