Yes!!! You will notice that the further from surgery and closer to your first fill you will be able to eat a little more than you thought you could. That will change after your 1st fill. Right now your band is fully deflated or "open" but don't worry about that, it feels constricted because it is compared to before surgery and there is quite a bit of swelling around the stomach tissue from being manipulated by the MD during surgery.
