I am 3 1/2 years out and every once in a while meat does not agree with me. I mostly stick with chicken. Somedays I am fine with a quality hamburger (meat only) and somedays I'm not. I would suggest you do protien shakes for a while - my doc had me on the Pro Complex, it's 55 grams of protien per shake, very low in carbs and sugars and I loved the chocolate shake. I did them with soy milk - yummy!!!!
