I'd keep up the protein too
John is right - the weight is gonna come off. Don't stress about that. Yea - you may be building muscle, the body doesn't work in a linear way so who knows what it is doing. 14 months out, I still don't really know what my body is going to do.
However, if you're not taking in many calories, which you're not, I'd make sure I was getting in enough protein if I were you. I do at least 100 grams a day, but I do work out every day. Most doctors recommend about 65 grams a day.
Most of all - you're going to be so happy you're in the gym when all is said and done! I haven't lost all my weight, but I am so pleased with how my body has changed and reshaped - it is a very nice benefit besides all the good it does for your heart etc.
