Default Hello Kitty Carolories Question

Hello Kitty asked such a good question in another thread (about watermelon) that I thought I would re-ask the same question - something that just isn't clear to me.

There are all kinds of charts available as to weight loss, but I have yet to find one that indicates the answer to Hello Kitty's question -- how many calories should the average person be eating at a certain stage.

For example, I'm 4'10", 5 months out (almost), and have 35 lbs to go to my goal of 126. Can someone tell me where I can find what that translates to in terms of calories I need to eat/burn, generally speaking?

Thanks, Hello Kitty, for verbalizing what I have been thinking....
