I did all pre op check in stuff today.. along with last minute blood work, EKG, and chest xray. Everything is in place. I just need to be brave and show up!

I was also able to talk with a lady who had her GBS reversed 4 weeks ago from the surgeon who is performing mine. She was a lot more sick than I am going into a reversal only because she was six yrs and I'm two yrs post op. She is doing tremendously well after just four short weeks. I am encouraged by her recovery that mine should go much more smoothly than hers did. I am seriously looking forward to getting my life back, and resuming better health.

You'll be plenty brave enough. Pain can push us to do things we thought were impossible.

I'm so happy to read about this other woman's experience. I would assume you should expect to feel awful for a while though. Just that surgery thing. But we've had some good news on this board lately, so I'll keep everything crossed for you.

Thanks for posting - we're all thinking about you!!
