Hi Fonda,
I look at it this way--you can either lose the 14 lbs, have the surgery and live OR you can die sooner from all the heart problems obesity is causing you. Sorry to be blunt but if you've got congestive heart failure & they've had to do a heart cath that is a deadly disease. Getting the weight off is the most inmportant thing to save your life bottom line.
As far as liquid medications there are ways around it like disolving it in liquid, etc...
You need to research all the positives this surgery will do for you. It will save your health and you will be around for your family for much longer. Sounds like you are focusing on the negative aspects that fear brings.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you. I haven't had surgery yet but have done tons of research to get to this point. I used to be against surgery but there comes a point where you have to face the fact that you cannot do this alone & need some help. That's what this surgery is.

Thanks,
Jeri
