Cool Long Timer

Hi All;
I haven't posted here for a few months, But I read now and then.

When I had my WLS 1-24-01 I was 338
Today I am 163....net 175 pounds
I lost 200.....to my goal
gained 35
lost 20
gained a few......lost a few....Just like normal folks do when they eat too much or slow down too much.

Alchohol was a bad culprit for me. gained weight and found I was having a real issue with the effect of alchohol on my new physiology. BE CAREFUL!

I Like Bridgit...can eat most anything...even "no no" stuff, with out any consequence. You will be able to do the dsame. But then comes the part where we have had to learn..,WLS is a tool.

I would say I had text book perfect results. Arthritis better...heart great...no more sleep apnea...I can actually run instead of waddle!

I have however, just been diagnosed with lymphoma....and there are issues with my disgestive tract. No realtionship or corrrelation to the WLS.

So......I Just began some ugly chemo and the doctors want me to hold my weight. Yup they told me to eat anything I can whenever I can. Still I ate cottage cheese for breakfast and will eat bean burrito for lunch. Proteins first.

But I must admit...there are a few hershey's kisses in my desk drawer...LOLOL
