Isn't that what all these TV shows about the surgery do, too? I mean really - They show the before and the after but gloss over or completely ignore the journey between the before and after. They, too are encouraging people to get the surgery but not fully informing them of all the risks and complications. While I grant you most of us don't want to hear the downside, at this point in time I really wish that I had known more of the life changes that I would have to make. I wouldn't have made a different choice, but I could have been more knowledgeable.
