Default My first official question, yay.

Ok so here goes my first official question on this board. I don't know if I'm going to get heat for this, but I'm traveling to Mexico for my surgery. My dad is a lawyer over there and is married to one of the best doctors in Mexico. She is the director of the Main hospital over there. I'm traveling because the hospital stay will be free for me and my stepmother will have her top two surgeons supervising the procedure. The only thiing coming out pocket will be the surgeon's fee. So everything is taken care of, but my main concern right now is the plane trip back. My mom and my husband freaked me out by saying my intestines good burst in mid air. I don't know but that sounds more like an urban legend to me. I try to google it but couldn't find to many results. Does anyone have any recommendations. Is there anything I should worry about. Stupid me I forgot to ask my doctor and I've already called him like 4 times this past week and I would feel embarrased to call again. So Iwas hoping someone if anyone could share their experiences and/or advise. It would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Everything works out in the end. If it hasn't worked out, it's not the end.
