Op or not
Thanks for all the replies and helpfull suggestions to my query. I've been a bit slow replying because I was waiting on the next move. In two days I go to see the surgeon again after having thought it over for 6 weeks, getting lots of stuff off the net via my daughter who's better at that than me, reading the replies on this site and generally just deciding whether or not I wanted to go ahead with the op which will be an open one and not Laparascopic. Unless the surgeon tells me I'm not suitable for whatever reason I have decided to go ahead and have the op done. I'm very lucky as here in New Zealand there are chances to have it done free on our National health system. That may mean a delay or two but I couldn't afford to pay for it privately. Anyway, thanks again and I'll let you know how I get on. Steve
