I can't believe she asked you how much you weigh with or without people around. Sizing is so arbitrary today. I wear a solid 4, sometimes 6 and sometimes 2.....but if I go for a high end designer dress, I could be in an 8 or 10. You never know. As long as you are happy with how you look and feel...that is all that matters!!!
Your friend was wrong and the only reason to mention it to her was to make sure she doesn't do it again.
