Seriously, only worry about protein right now. You will lose weight no matter what you eat, but you will lose lean body mass if you don't get in the protein. I ate very few calories (below 800) for the first 9 months and lost 150 lbs in that time. I then started being able to eat more and just tried to listen to my body. I continued to lose to 145 (173 lbs gone) and I maintained the same weight for a long time. Now, at 3 years out, I am trying to lose a few more pounds and have to keep it at 1300 or below, very low carb (or the weight won't come off).

Please try not to stress. In my opinion, I would only worry about increasing calories if you hit a long plateau. I found that if I did that for a couple of days and then dropped back to what had been working for me, I would start to lose again.
