Marty, you silly girl. I said 300 calories is 1/3 of my calories, not 1/2. hehehehe I love you too honey for trying to take such good care of me. I miss you like the dickuns! (figure of speech, I hope you have heard that one, it's a southern thang. LOL) I have increased my calories and I have actually increased the solid food intake. My ulcer med seems to be doing the trick and I have even been eating shredded roast in teenie tiny bits, but I get about half a cup or a little less down now! Chicken is still a big "iffy", but I do get it down sometimes too. Beef is always better for me I have noticed. I have discovered a new way to make the taste of a hamburger without actually "eating" the hamburger in hamburger form. I scramble lean ground beef and then put ketchup, mustand, and pickle on an open faced piece of bread and put the scrambled meat on it and the ketchup helps it to stay put and then I eat it with a fork. Man that is GOOD! I can eat about half or alittle over half of it. It's true..where there is a will, there is a way. On the other hand, I'm gonna lie and say I haven't been eating so you have to come down here!
