I found myself listening carefully to the answers the one woman (Rosa?) gave to the psychologist -- what are the "right" answers? Rosa was obviously very depressed, and the psychologist's evaluation played a major part in her being denied insurance coverage.
I am, by nature, very happy-go-lucky, and I tend to see everything through rose-colored glasses. I am worried that I'll seem to "happy" at my evaluation, and that the psychologist will make a recommendation that, "Ruthann is very well adjusted and should be able to lose weight through conventional means."
I want to be honest in the evaluation, but I also want to make sure my surgery is covered! If Rosa knew the "right" answers, maybe her surgery would have been covered, too.
The one man who was 750 pounds was sent to a long-term center -- wasn't that the place featured in another Discovery/TLC show recently? The Brookfield Center, or something like that? I recognize both him and his wife.
