My insurance is amazing - very few like it. My plastic surgeon wrote a letter (no idea what he said, honestly) then my PCP sent a letter of support, saying she'd treated me for infections of the belly button that would be helped by a pannulectomy. I was about to remind my orthopedist who treated me for my back injury, to fax something over, and they'd already approved it. NICE!
So basically, for a panni, you need rashes and back pain. Good thing they didn't deny me, they were going to get a letter with TMI! Because this stupid thing is in my way when I'm trying to make love. And I would have given them gorey details, let me tell you!
Every company is different. No one covers breast lifts but most cover a reduction if you have at least 700...grams? I can't remember, but about a pound of tissue removed from each breast. I wish I had that much left!
