Christy I agree with Ree. Don't allow them to do that Glucose Tolerance Test. It is like dumping sugar on top of your pouch. My OB told me to eat a tuna sandwich and wait an hour and then get my blood drawn. Be sure to instruct your doctor about what dumping is and how it is caused. Believe it or not, there are a lot of doctors who are still uneducated about GBS let alone being pregnant after having GBS. Also when your doctor gives your lab slip make sure that they write out the way the glucose testing is to be done so that the lab won't give you any drama about they way it is suppose to be done.
I also lost weight during my pregnany. The baby is going to take with she/he needs. If nothing else be sure to get all your protein in and prenatals. Very important. You are still early in your pregnancy so I am sure they may want to do the Glucose testing on you a couple of times during your pregnancy. Being scared is a normal feeling when you first find out you are pregnant, that feeling will fade as you get further in your pregnancy.
