Hey ya'll! (BTW, thanks for this sub-forum)
Ok ... so tomorrow I will be 9 weeks.

I'm so excited, but also so confused. I've had a hard time finding much information on pregnancy after gastric bypass. I'm a member of the yahoo OSSG-Pregnancy group, so they are a wealth of information, which helps.
Prior to my surgery 5.5 years ago, I was diabetic. So my OB is concerned that'll come back. OB told me I needed to do the gluclose intolerance test (?) and went on to explain they would do a fasting blood draw then I'd have to drink some sugar drink and do the blood draw again. This sent up red flags in my head and I reminded her about my surgery ... so after some asking around, she's telling me I have to do a fasting blood draw, then eat a "normal" breakfast and go back in two hours.
Has anyone had experience with these tests? What should I eat?
Another question ... since I found out I'm pregnant, I've lost weight (12 lbs the first week) ... I've been doing everything normal and haven't been throwing up. Should I be worried? My OB says they're familiar with post-op pregnancies, but I'm not too sure.
Thanks!
