Welcome to the forum, my wife and I are having surgery on May 29th too. We too are on the liquid diet for two weeks because our surgeon says that it shrinks the liver and makes his job easier. The diet is a pain but the out come will be worth it. Remember to drink lots of water all day long to help withthe hunger. It seems according to our dietitian water will make the hunger pains go away. I mix my water with a very light mixture of Crystal Light. We will be praying for you for the liquid diet and the surgery.
