You've been through a LOT! Wow! I had complications, but was over them pretty quick....nothing like what you are experiencing. Ever since my 2nd surgery...I haven't had one moment of discomfort, nausea, or vomiting. I do know there are others on the forum who have had problems. Donna will probably post a reply to you...she's had MAJOR complications. I have a friend who had the surgery last year and she's had lots of problems also. Revision surgery and a bowel obstruction surgery...picc line..and now she has a J-tube in her old stomach to let her pouch rest...so hopefully she can heal and eat again without pain/vomiting. It's been rough for her..but she still tells me she doesn't regret the surgery. She's only 26 years old. I worry about her a lot..but she's still smiling. It's hard when you have complications. I remember crying a lot...and I still take Paxil in the morning and xanax at night for anxiety. (I was on Effexor before surgery too). I feel great now, and I pray you will also. We all know there can be complications going in, but it doesn't make it any easier to deal with when it happens to us!!! Take care of yourself.....hopefully there are better days ahead!
