In my original surgery, I don't remember anything until I woke up in ICU and my family was all there saying the surgery went great. 2 days later when they had to go back in b/c of a complication, I remember waking up in the recovery room with a tube down my throat and feeling panicked and trying to rip it out and the nurses telling me to calm down and just relax and they'd take it out soon. I definately prefer the first memory to the second!
