I have one of those wide model, wimpy, personal kayaks - low performance deal...It has a seat in the front for a small kid (I used to take my son out on a lake when I was only 220-240 and fit in it.

) Reading your post reminds me that I can easily fit in now and I have a brand new kid to take along. Fun is in the future. (Not to mention that I now have the arms to do some damage across a lake)
If you ever want to do a weekend, lake type row - let me know. I'll throw the Kiwi on top of the Outback and be there in a few hours. We can go with or without adorable, curly red headed princess.
