Question Is 30 minutes enough?

>Ok, I've joined a gym, Lady of America. Anyhow, I'm going in and working out for just about 30 minutes. I do upper body on M,W,F, lower body on T,Th. Next week I'll reverse that. I'm giving myself off from the gym on weekends, but will walk instead. Am I doing enough to help? As I said in my Personal thread, it's 100% more than what I ever did before surgery. I'm also thinking of signing up for some more personal timer with the trainer who gave me my "introductory" sessions. (I think it's a good use of some of my refund money, don't you?)
>So, some of you people are waaaaaay crazier than me and have taken to exercise like a duck to water. Am I on the right track? (My trainer suggested an hour, I think I remember, but endurance-wise and time-wise, I don't think I can do it right now.)
