Most docs realistically know you can only get in 600-800. Stop worrying about caloric intake a worry about protein, protein, protein and veggies/fruit. Oh and your vitamins.

You wont go wrong or hurt yourself following that rule of thumb. That is per Dr Callery (the surgeon that hosts this site, and my Dr.) and his practice is a Center of Excellence on WLS.

How long has your Dr been doing this procedure? Does he specialize in WLS only or does he do other things like Oncology, Internal Medicine, etc?

If you go to this main page www.thinnertimes.com there are dietary guidelines as well.

But again, dont worry about calories, worry about them when you are worried you are losing too much weight.

"People will argue with you that getting what you want in life isn’t something you can learn, if you’re destined to be one of the worlds winners as opposed to one of its perpetual whiners, its because you have been born with the right talents and temperament and have a big dose of self-esteem, ambition, and good judgment."
