Talking It takes all kinds...

Wanna hear what a "healthy" obese person eats? After my ex was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, I dealt with it by overhauling our eating and following the MS diet guidelines. We were vegetarian for a year and vegan for another year - everything was organic and prepared from scratch.
  • 36 oz of protein shake (made with yogurt, fruit, milk, and sometimes sherbert)
  • 2-3 cups of coffee with loads of cream and sugar
  • a "salad": 4-5 cups of lettuce, 2 boiled eggs, carrots, tomato, cheese, nuts, the kitchen sink
  • a "snack" of 2-3 pieces of fruit or a couple cups of edamame (soybeans) or half a package of rice cakes
  • 2-3 cups of white rice with 2-3 cups of curried tofu and vegetables made with coconut milk and other fatty substances
  • half a pint or more of sorbet or sherbert - because I'd "been good all day"

Obviously, portion control was an issue for me
