Angie - we started at similar weights - and I can tell you that for me, I didn't go down in size rapidly until I was under 200. I think Dyann is right about the stretch and plus sizing. You can fluctuate 25 pounds and still wear the same outfits!! NOW, no way could I do that. 25 pounds ago, I solidly wore a size 8, now I'm a 6 or 4 for most things. When I started, I could wear the same size 20w pants after a 30 pound loss. I also had people that didn't comment on my first 60 pound of loss . . . I thought that was freaky - then suddenly I hit 75 pounds lost and people in my building started to make comments . . . It's weird. So, hang in there, and don't buy too much at this size.
