When I first read this.. I thought it sounded more like it was for the old "stomach stapling"... mostly because of the references to making sure the staple line was intact.. If someone with the RNY's staple line wasnt in-tact.. it wouldnt take long to tell me thinks.. It also has an example of a woman that had it for like 20 years and had a full return of her weight.. I would really be curious as to the date, and which surgery it was referring to.. some of it sounds very helpful though.

Edit: Nevermind.. first two sentences answer the question about which surgery..
